Tangoes is based on the 4,000 year old Chinese Tangram puzzle. Legend says that a man dropped a porcelain tile which broke into seven pieces. As Tan tried to reconstruct the square, he created various shapes. Today there are hundreds of designs that can be made with the seven pieces. With twice the pieces of the original, the object of Double Tangoes is to make the shapes shown on the cards using all 14 puzzle pieces of the same color! Double Tangoes combines artistic and mathematical elements to enhance visual perception ability in adults and children.
